This friendly fella kept following my wife for a couple of days.  He was leery of me though. ?Their pups would slowly approach me but then the vixen somehow told them to stop and return to their den which was close by.   

Vilas and Oneida counties have turned into that kinda hot 50 year old stripper. Every once in a while, she still shows some glimpses of her amazing former self, but for the most part now, she’s been rode hard and put away wet to many times and we’re past the point of no return.

They say all good things must come to an end! My properties are hitting the market Monday. Time to find some new stomping grounds away from all the yups.  

We have the two grandkids for the next 12 days. Look for me in the whiskey and drinking tonight posts next week! :)

...had a fox come right up to our 4some on 16th Green at New Berlin Hills...many moons ago... knowing about rabies we were all pretty concerned... critter took a dump on the green and trotted off into the brush...maybe some golf balls were annoying it??? Anyway it turned from we will defend ourselves to a funny story

  

Had this guy hanging out at the cabin this afternoon for awhile he wasn't afraid and didn't want to leave lol!

Hope to drag the boat up nort this wknd.,,,, went to prep and all batteries are dead from unuse, lol. got son working on them, 
he was able to jump two w/truck motor, for some reason it gets them to wake up & take a charge?  Kid is a handy godsend, takes
care of his old man.... trying to get the boat up this weekend and then go up for father's day to try and get out w/my dad & family.
Dad is 81 and going thru some tough times....... net

Beautiful night on the water in the presqueisle area and and the fish were biting!

Just got back from a week on the Eagle River chain.  Took the wife and a young lady who is a friend of the family.  Maybe I am not that good of a fisherman but I couldn't put us on many walleye.  Lot of small perch and like 4 keepers plus enough walleye for one meal.  By far the most active fish were the small mouth, were caught about 20 from 12 to 19 inches.  The young lady caught a tiger musky on her slip bobber and my wife caught a regular musky the same way, all I came up with were 5 snakey pike.  Still a good week, even jumped into the water on Friday.

Yes. Before the racing got big there was a golf driving range there. My Bubby and I would see how far we could hit the ball over hwy 8. The longest would get a beer across the road.  I can't remember the name of the bar on the  corner.

Is that where the Brush Run 101 originated back in the 1970s  ?

Jimmie Johnson raced off road there I believe around 96’ , I believe Robby Gordon race there also . After motocross Jeremy McGrath raced off road also . Good times there back in the day      

There is a major off road track. Just outside the city limits on highway 8 and county road S.

I didnt know Crandon had a international raceway
