Here in NW Douglas Cty the gnats are horrible !

Mosquitoes are in charge yesterday and today. It’s dry out also, so hoping they are short lived.

The mosquitoes have really gotten bad the last couple days.

Never seen one with wood like that mostly I see them with steel cables

Is the only reason for that type so you can leave it year round?

I’m not leavn for 40/60 minute. Gonna do some fishing and work. No rain in forecast. Not supposed to be very windy is what the Weather Guessers say! Lol

This is a unique pier on our lake. Used to know what kind it was called, but, never have we seen anyone at it since 2008. 

This guy was watching me work in the garage, waiting for me to leave so he could check out the feeder. I shoo'd him and he looked at the ground like a dog that pooped in the house. Funny stuff

Been up since last Thursday. Yes, loving the retired life! All the money in the world couldn't buy the weather that we've had the last 6 day's. Getting most of the Spring work completed. Only down fall is the black gnat's, expecially when in the woods. 
Where have all the bird's gone?? Some robins hanging around but nothing else.

I hear you Brent.  I've had remnants of great stuff stuck on arm hair for weeks.  The stuff is nasty.  I've ruined several articles of clothing with the stuff too.

It was an absolutely beautiful weekend in northern Oconto county.  I wish I could have done something fun!  Did leaf clean up and put in the pier.  Will be missing Memorial day weekend for the first time since owning our place.  Unfortunately have my best friends funeral on Saturday.

Going the middle of June and would be great if it was over
