There were 3 out their yesterday but that was yesterday. Also, some iffy looking spots dark spider web spots and it's snowing here now. I'd be extremely careful if its snow covered.I had a good solid 6 inches of hard ice. But again, that was yesterday morning.

Got out Friday, lake was super wet with places over an inch of water. Kept enough for a meal, small one ate it deep so kept it. Beach area was still passable and ice was about 6-8" where I moved around.

Took a drive to check out conditions this AM, boat launch looks good, only open water is small amount to the right of the launch next to land. I didn't walk out on it.  I'm not using an atv anymore but it looks good to walk out via it.  Beach access, no water yet, walked out in tennis shoes.

What heat wave? The tiny bit of snow we have on lakes around here hasnt even melted yet. Its been above freezing by a few degrees for 12 of the last 36 hours. Weekend and next weeks temps are when the heat wave starts.

I don't believe there is a winter walleye Wednesday series anymore. Goeman's BP has a sign up by the live bait for a series starting in spring. Since Reefpoint got torn down, it kinda went away.

Wow i suck at this forum thing these days lmfao i dont eben know how to reply or comment/add previos post to mine lol i guess i just doing alot of reading past couple years. Anyway Blitzfish yah they still do have Walleye Wednesday through uncle Larrys... I believe this is the link if i even do this properly. I like fishing Pike lake cause its my local lake & caught more walleyes through ice last year then have in quite a long time if ever. alot of shorts last year though so was thinking this year & next few will be start to a few more decent fish if peeps dont keep every eye they catch. i try to honestly release most pike lake walleyes. i try to get my fish i keep from other bigger lakes or not right where i live if i have time to go instead of pounding my local lake that ive livd by for 20+ years... Just my .02 cents I understand completely if you buy or rent on the lake or you moved to that area for a certain lake to fish & what not but keeeping my local lake fished up is the goal. plus basically now in 2026 every eye caught is a natural reproducing pike lake fish, not a stocked one.

I would think 80 vehicles had something to do with your experience

Ice: 13"
13.5” ice. 80+ vehicles out midday and much more on machines. Fished from 8ft to 18ft no action on tip ups. Marked and caught tons of small perch jigging but no keepers. Couldn’t believe flags didn’t hit in deeper water. Until next time.
