Ice: 20"
Traveled from Wausau with a friend to see if we could tap into some jumbo perch. Fished Wednesday and Thursday of of Mosey Landing, about 20" of ice where we fished. People were walking out or taking there 4x4s or UTVs. As we had never fished it before we asked locals fishing for advice and they gave us hints and told us where to stay away from danger areas on the ice. Did not end up with a lot of fish for two days but still had fun trying something new. Hats off to all of the friendly folks both days that we chatted with us and shared fishing hints and stories. Will go back some time and hopefully tap into the mother load!

bongohunter to answer your question I fished on Tuesday and ice conditions were very solid. The cold weather solidified shorelines again so you should be good for this weekend. On Tuesday I didn't see 4 wheelers out yet, which resulted in me testing out my ebike setup. I was pumped how well it worked.
As for a fishing report, they were super finicky. I got some underwater footage and you'll see how much of a negative mood they were in. Minnow bite was almost non-existent and all they wanted was small tungsten with a waxie or small piece of beavertail.
Good luck if you get out this weekend.

Foggy 35°
Ice: 7"
River Channel
My son and I went out on Christmas day and yesterday. We got out later each day. We started each day about 10am to about 2:30 pm. Christmas day was slow very few keepers. Ended up with 6. Yesterday the 26th out slow but after jumping to a bunch of different spots we finally found some fish that would bite. We had to sort thru a bunch of little ones but kept enough for a good meal.  Not going out again until the cold weather comes back and freezes  things back up.

30°
I fished from about noon to 4pm.  Caught 6 fish but only kept two (11 inch perch and a 9 inch gill).  Lost a dandy at the hole using a tip down with a crappie minnow.  A solid 7-8 inches of ice.  Many ATVs and snow dogs traveling on the ice.  Overall the bite was very slow.
