This morning we try a new lake up in northern Wisconsin and ended up catching a few quality fish! The Topwater frog has been just flat out catching a lot of fish for me this August!
This time in the northwoods, I bushwhacked with my kayak into a series of spring fed ponds connected by a little creek. The brook trout were in there and ready to bite.
Visited the Northeast Woods again and had a great time. The lakes we were in were smaller and weedy so bass, crappie, and pike were the targets. I don't think any of them held walleye. These lakes are in Oconto County.
