Kayak fished Bowers Lake. You need to walk down some 28 railroad tie steps down to the lake, then had to paddle out 40 yards to get thru heavy cover of lily pads out onto the lake. The lake is perhaps only 10 acres at this time.
Lake level is very low. A couple feet below 'normal'. Could poke paddle down 6' to lake bottom in most areas, but on average there was only 3.5' - 4' of water to fish. Yet there were fish. Small bobber and small hook and worm. Caught a couple dozen small bluegills, average 4" - 5", A few small bass, and some golden shiners.
Quiet peaceful experience.
