Eagle Lake is located in Essex County, New York. This lake is 410 acres in size. It is approximately 40 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Brown Bullhead, Brown Trout, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch and Pumpkinseed.
DEC launch off Route 74, one mile west of Hamlet of Eagle Lake. Beach launch. Parking for 6 cars and trailers.
NOTE: This list may not be all inclusive of all speices present in Eagle Lake.
Eagle Lake is stocked with brown trout annually. There is an abundant yellow perch population. During the most recent survey, approximately 300 yellow perch were collected averaging 10 inches in size. Eagle Lake is one of the more popular black bass fisheries in Essex County.
