Tichigan Lake

Try fishing the park in Big bend and the river on 164 only river access I can get close too..no catfish four dogfish LOL

Tug, on the river. Don’t know of any access you have to know somebody   

Hey gill.. are you catching them in the main river or on the lake.. I know it's hard to get access with all the private property there

Bluegill pretty much done spawning but still can catch a few nice ones.  If you get bored with that, the catfish are snapping.  Can catch them on red worms, but faster action by putting on a small blue gill on a circle hook and hold on.  Catch them up to 30”. I have a smaller one on the grill right now.  I bled it out and I cleaned it properly hoping for the best.  

want to echo the sentiment of windlake i appreciate all input and info given... i dont and really wont fish here but thats whats this is all about fishermen helping fishermen.... 99 percent of the time i just like to read reports.... as ive fished all my life in waukesha county i commend you guys giving real input and helping others 

Oh okay thank you.. I drive past that place on 164 all the time never even gave it a thought...thought it was more like a creek maybe I'll try it

Not report or anything, but just wanted to thank you guys for all the good info the last couple of pages. ​We are lucky to have a core of really good posters here.

I've never tried it myself but I know guys that have, if you head towards Tichigan on 164 right across the street from Siege paintball there is a public area you can fish from on the river. Its right on a bend. Ive head of many cats caught there.

Not the greatest spot, but you can catch fish there. I found the best is on the far end casting under the bridge but mainly for pan, fish and smallmouth bass. I never tried there for catfish

Hey fellas don't have a boat or anything.. and I know there is no public shore spots in tichagan but was wondering if this good catfishing at the park in Big bend
