Pool, it's easy to tell how much you care about your dogs, and Roy was lucky for that. Like was said, much better than suffering, but it sure doesn't make it any easier on you and yours.

Sorry to hear about Roy. It's definitely hard to see our best friends go. I went through it too many times, it is always tough.

Pool-  Sorry to hear the news. Roy sounded like a great dog and companion. Never a good ending to our best buddy's lives , but to your point it went quickly and there was no suffering. I am sure you have a lot of great memories !!!   Love labs and am bracing for this day with my 12yr old buddy who has some health issues. 

Pool- So sorry for your loss. It always hurts for a long time and so hard to get over. 

Found Roy laying on the floor this morning.  Not normal for him.  Wouldn't get up to go out or eat.
Took him to the vet first thing.  Turned out he had a tumor by his heart and it was bleeding.  That was it , that fast. We had to let him go. He was running around last night like always. The vet said this happens with labs. 

He was a few days shy of 11.This one will sting for a long time, he went everywhere with me.

I'm grateful he didn't have to suffer long. 

He was a good boy. 

Worst fawking thread to come back to the top, sorry for your loss Junkie and just remember all the great times -- you heart has been overfilled w/ the love and memories your dog gave you over his life.
