Wednesday night bass tourney results:  You just don't get better than to win first, second, and third place AND have big bass of the year so far.  Ryan did just that, with a   21 3/4", 18, and 16 1/2".   Just wow!

The carp are going CRAZY along the shorelines today.  If you know anyone into bow shooting let them know they are up tight to the banks and are very active.

Tomorrow May 6 is the first night for the Wednesday night Phantom Lake Bass tournament!  The tournament is run out of the (free) public boat launch at the end of Andrews Street.   Tournament hours are 6 to 9pm, so arrive a little early to check in and have your boat checked.  You can fish either Upper Phantom or Lower Phantom.  Cost is $ 20/person.  Pays three places based on length of single longest fish.  You can win multiple places if you catch multiple big fish.  All fish are to be released as soon as they are measured.  You need to have either a working livewell or aerated cooler to keep fish alive.    Dead fish will not be measured.   This weekly tournament is legally registered and permitted by the WDNR.  The tournament is every Wednesday night regardless of weather and will go until mid-September.  Remember, NO WAKE STARTS AT 7pm!

Out for about 4 hours new Years day, constant fish from blue gills to northerns everything was active.  Measured about 9.5 inches of ice.  One truck took a slow drive around, but didn't stay out on the ice for too long.
