Lake Delton

Was out on Tuesday.  Plenty of ice, but I did not measure since I didn't need to drill holes.  Plenty that were just lightly crusted.  There is a heave by the park where I put onto the lake.  It was still in good shape on Tuesday, but there was water on top of the ice a bout twenty yards to the left of where I got on.  Not sure what warm weather and two days of rain will do to the access point.
Fishing was mostly slow.  I fished from 7:30 to 11.  I caught 13 crappies, 2 gills and 1 perch jigging red or orange tungsten.  all but three fish were caught between 9 and 9:30 AM.  Good luck.

Headed up to Delton for last time and was wondering  if there is easy access yet to Lake from Kaminky park lot ? Thanks. 

Looks like they had a snowmobile event on the lake today over in ftont of the Bartlet stage. Lots of trucks and trailers.

Thank you.  Walked out last night from priegel pier. Seen quite a few trucks out this morning.  Where is everyone driving out from? ( 1st time up here, sorry)

Ice has been pretty good. Trucks have been out. Last Monday there was even a truck out with random axle pump trailer. They were trimming trees along the shore.

Anybody have a current ice report for Lake delton? trying my first time up there on Saturday. Thank you

They are driving ATVs and UTVs out on the lake now. I very rarely ever see a vehicle on the lake. 

Anyone have a current ice depth for lake delton going to be in the dells theweekend of the Jan 16th just wondering if I will be able to drive truck out by than. Live a ways away or would check it myself. Thanks
