Went off of landing #6 yesterday afternoon. All small perch in 7 FOW. Small jig and spikes or red plastic. Landing wasn't bad. 24" ice

Hello All,  I am hoping to be able to drive out this coming weekend, 2/27/26, and was wondering how the shorelines are holding?

As of 2/2/26, ice depth was 25” at the 30 ft hole outside of Popps Bay.  Top ice was lumpy with little surface snow. Two small perch for 6 hours of work.

Any report on how the ice is after all the rain?

Fished Saturday, 1-7pm off weed edge with depths varying from 5' to 30'.  Used a variety of minnows and presentations.  No flags.  Ice was 10+ inches everywhere I drilled.  

Fished from 2-8pm, in about 6' of water with no flags.  Going to try a deeper spot today.

Anyone have an ice thickness report for High Falls? Just heading up for some ice fishing for the New Year!

More of an ice report than a fishing report. Went up to the cabin today and stopped to check a few areas on High Falls. 5-6” on the bay just south of Twin Bridge along the West shore out of the little canoe launch point there, about 50ft out. Owner at Popp’s said they had 6” throughout Popp’s bay, their family is fishing it and riding snowmobiles ONLY in the back bay already. About 6-7” in the bay out from Boat Launch 3 (the old one to the south, closer to the dam), walked out about 300ft and saw a UTV hugging the East shoreline fishing.

Use best judgment in the main channel or the main body of the lake. But shorelines are safe for walking and use caution with ATVs and snowmobiles. Use caution as always, just giving accurate measurements I took this morning.
