Went out from George's. The ice is solid, no slush. Saw vehicles come out from the park, and from Whitecap. I would estimate 2' of ice. The fishing for me was pretty bad - 1 short walleye and 1 perch for 6 hours. I set up in 18' and jigged that spot, no crappies coming in on the flasher. Had tip ups on channel edges, ~ 12'.

I’m going to make one last effort for a kid that lost his rod carrier out of the back of a sled yesterday coming off Eau Pleine yesterday afternoon during the WIFA tournament. We were headed west through the narrows to the west landing at Eau Pleine park. It’s a grey L & M soft case. I can describe the rods inside. Feel free to contact me at 715-891-2098.

Fished west of Lisa's yesterday evening. Skunk. Marked one on bottom and one suspended. Oxygen level seemed okay. Minnows were coming up strong. There is a rim of standing water around the entire shore that is about ankle deep. A guy said he put his leg through up to his thigh in front of the landing. IDK if he found an extra-large ice hole hidden in the slush or a crack opened. Going to wait till it drains or ices up before trying to get a vehicle or 4-squeeler on the ice in that particular location. I did find 20+ of ice off the channel and less in the channel. There wasn't any other slush away from shore. Water was all cloudy from the runoff. Been trying a new spot every time I go out. Certainly, weren't where I was yesterday.
