Ripley Lake

Fished 1:30 to 4:30 this afternoon, first time at Ripley through the ice and only managed some tiny perch everywhere I went. Mostly stayed shallow and near/on breaks where I expected to find weeds, but didn't. Might've been some by the crowds today but didnt want to squeeze in. Might check deeper water if i come back before ice out, usually have good luck during open water season and would love to replicate that through the ice. Beautiful day with lots of folks out there. Ice was still holding up with a good foot in most spots, but a couple holes i drilled were around 8-10 inches. The boy scout launch was starting to show some wear from all the vehicles and the warmth but nobody was having issues getting off the ice at the end of the day.

Anyone know if pier  is still there
