Fox Lake

There are catfish in the lake but not sure there is a fishable population. I have only seen a few caught in the past 13 years of fishing there.

Bass fishing was decent this past weekend. We fished shallow with senkos and just tried to locate pockets in the weeds. Between 2 boats we caught roughly 30 bass. 

Hey fellas.. the wife got us a Airbnb at a lake house on fox just was wondering is there any catfish to be caught in this lake.. I keep hearing about Beaver dam but don't want to take my disabled uncle would rather have him fish from the back of the house

We caught a small bass about 12 inches or so in 13ft bait was 10ft down 

Brendan, how deep are you catching bass when trolling? I only bass fish and I frequent Fox often but never seem to go deeper than where there are weeds. Interesting that your catching them more than likely not around weeds if your trolling. Thx for any info 

Fished all day today slow at first managed some pike and bass trolling no eyes but caught one later on a slip bobber with lots of gills criappies and perch over all good day lots of people l….lots of people trolling right at you or cutting you off as usual 

Went out from 6am-1pm on Tuesday 5/26. Water was at 70⁰ and the weeds arento the top of the water in all the bays. Green slime coming off all the weeds, hard to get a lure through anywhere. Carp are all over tearingup the bottom. Fishing was awesome over the weekend but it was terrible yesterday. Only caught 3 bass all day. A lot of gills and bass getting on beds.

Went out Monday trolling again with all the wind. Pulled in 3 Northerns and  6 crappies. The smallest Crappie was 9.5".  No Walleyes today.

Came up on 5-20 and leaving today 5-25
Fishing was excellent for crappies and gills, target walleyes one day, one legal and one short. Weather on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday was cold and breezy but still caught fish. Saturday and Sunday Beautiful

Didn't get disappointed today on Fox Lake. Trolled around until about 2pm when I found them and pulled in 2 good walleyes and lost another behind the boat. Also was getting Northerns and crappies. Lots of activity on the lake with jet skis and a few water skiers but it didn't seem to bother the fish. 

Was out after lunch and trolled. Wasn't doing much along the edges so worked the deep and picked up a 20" eye and a couple crappies. Lots of weeds floating around.
