Went back out for a few hours on Thursday. Caught one smaller bass, saw a handful cruising shallow. They weren't on beds yet, but I'm sure by now they are.

Went out for a few hours this morning for the catch and release opener. Couldn't find fish anywhere. Water ranged from 41.9 to 42.3 on the entire lake, couldn't find anything warmer.
Pier is not in and water seemed low. My truck was in the shop, so the SUV I was using ended up going in above the tail pipes to launch.
I really want to love this lake, but last time I went, my cameras crapped out on me and today my boat cranked twice and then lost all electricity to the motor (I think I know the problem, but couldn't fix it then and there). Had to cut my trip short for fear that my trolling motor was running out of juice. I just love how crystal clear the water is. One of these days will be a success there.
Just checked it this afternoon maybe 1.5” by the shore so I didn’t venture out
A very similar lake a mile away had 3 inch ice near shore and 2 inch main lake. I have not personally checked Silver yet tho
Anyone have a ice update? Thank you.
Pier is out at Silver lake
Is it still “no wake”? Thinking of fishing but if the pleasure boaters are going crazy I’ll find a different lake.
Silver isn't even the best carp lake in town. Labelle 5 min away is much better, near the river exit
Any carp in the lake my son and I are looking to have a little fun shooting a few carp. Thanks
Well, I had some technical issues, so Silver Lake didn't get its own episode, but here's what I was able to salvage and throw together. Enjoy!
