Never been here before. Google Maps shows some nice looking bank though. Wondering if there are Carp in this lake. I'm sure there are some, but any of good size?

Anyone been out lately
What is the ice situation there, anyone been out on it
Was wondering if anyone has been out on the ice yet and what's it like and if anyone is catching anything. I hit this lake hard during spring and summer and never have a bad day. Large, and smallies is all I catch.
That's awesome becomes a member on sat to explain how leota works and has no clue ???
Allen Creek above Lake Leota is a class I and class II trout stream.Allen Creek flowing out of Leota is not classified as a trout stream according to the dnr website but is considered an exception fishery with many species of fish.
I fish Leota around 200 days a year and have seen some nice trout caught below the spillways but never out of the lake. There are nice size bass, walleye and northens in the lake and stream below the spillways. Was told by dnr that they would like any walleye or northen caught below the spillways to release them into the lake.My biggest bass was just over 6 lbs.Biggest walleye was 22 inches and biggest northern was just under 38 inches.I was told by an old timer that 40 years ago it was nothing to catch dozens of 40+ in. northerns in the marsh north of the tracks.
Yes they stocked pike.
And its just a spring running into the lake. It doesnt turn into a trout stream until past the dams.
Below 0° F
Just went out to check ice depth and test new auger. Just wanted to post to let people know depth.
Went a few feet off southern dock by the ice house. Was able to walk out and drill through 8 inches of ice. But may be thinner in other spots as the original stream runs down the middle.
Most of the fish in the lake were stocked after it was dredged. Trout are naturally occurring because of the trout stream into and out of the lake but they are rare. I haven't seen a stocking report showing pike so if those are in there, they might have been stocked by fisherman.
