I am a retired Navy guy that lives about an hour away, and am asking for help in finding a good shore location along Lake Como to fish early mornings and a few late evenings. I noticed a couple boat ramps and some open shoreline. Mostly Lures,. I have fished much in the past 30 yours. Your help would mean alot. Bass, Walleye, Pike.......

Sorry Haven't been fishing for a while.
The lake is not no wake, not too busy during the week.
Yes, Lake Como has weeds everywhere, some areas thicker than others and you definitely want to keep that in mind for your bait selection.
Cat Man is The lake pretty much a slow no wake lake? And how busy is it during the week? And how weedy is it right now?
Here is a report on the last couple weeks since my last report.I tried Pike fishing with bait again a couple times with no luck so maybe I try casting again and if catch one set up in that area.
Bass fishing has been ok I've caught twenty five from shore in the last couple weeks quite a few in the 2 to 3 lb range. The weird thing about the Bass fishing I have not caught one fish under a dock or the shade of a tree, all bites have come in areas of full sun. I'm starting to wonder if the large population of Carp in the lake take over areas of shade and kick other fish out.
Went Bluegill fishing from shore one afternoon and was able to catch enough for a meal.

I was out the other evening drifting casting for Pike and had a dead minnow under a float that I drag right behind my drift with the thought if I have some followers maybe they might like the bait coming by after. The drag behind bait caught a nice catfish some I thought I would try some catfishing tonight. I get set up in the area I caught that catfish the other night cut my chubs up and set lines about 6:30, 7:15 the first rod goes with a half a large chub and it's the creature from Lake Como that felt like I hooked unto a jet ski and broke my 20lb flourocarb leader like it was nothing. The next hour or so was like a Barracuda feeding frenzy of Pike on chub cut bait lol. Ended up catching four Pike 22", 24", 25" and one pushing 30" that didn't like the measuring board and jumped in the water and swam away. I gotta work on my target species, i catch catfish when i'm pike fishing and Pike when i'm catfishing.

Fished Saturday afternoon without any luck, with the strong west winds I fished mostly the west end area 6 fow I found with some weed growth and fish but tried a bunch of different lures for bass and pike but not a bite.
what is the water temp at como ?
Caught some more Carp yesterday afternoon, but the bite wasn't nearly as good as the other day when it was 30 degrees warmer, I've been catching the Carp on corn.
