This lake. is part of the Sylvanea wilderness and no motors are allowed including augers, the DNR operates a station were you need to buy a usage permit during the summer, lot's of parking and bathroom. The landing is Spartan but ok. You can( just on this lake) use a trolling motor 40 lb. max. and live bait. Ice fishing can be difficult due to slush that always seems to be there. The road to the landing is closed in winter and there is almost no place to park.

Excellent large mouth bass topwater action. Nice nonlegal northern action, with some lunkers I'm sure. great rock bass action in fall and spring fish the stumps near shore. Check the recent regulation for moter boat rules, may only be a canoe/ kayak lake.
