This little lake has some of the toughest fighting Smallmouth i've ever caught. I fish a tournament here every year and these Smallies never disappoint me.
Some good Largemouth averaging 3lbs. are also here along with some nice legal walleyes. Weeds are a problem but also good for the Bass poulation.
Top water and Jerkbaits are good in summer along with 4 to 7 inch worms hooked any style. I've become a believer in a 4 to 5 inch finesse worm on a ball head. I can catch Bass and Walleye using this method.
Try this lake this year. It has weeds, rock points, and gravel bars.
It's a tannic water lake meaning dark brown water but you'll be hooked when you set the hook on a 3 lb. Smally.

Good lake to fish... but be ready to fight the weeds! No joke, half the lake is weeds to the top in July.

Nice lake to fish when its not busy with ski boats and jet ski's. Large pike and bass as well as a fair amount of walley. A nice weed bed to fish on the south east side of lake straight out from the landing.
