It is one of my favorite lakes locally. Bluegill is the most abundant and catch it on anything. Yellow bass is very abundant and are very hard to find in lakes so you should fish here for that species. I haven't caught that many largemouths or cats. But crappie are abundant on clear and sunny days warm or cold and are usually 11 inches or longer. I have talked to people locally who have caught some around 4 lbs. It is still a beautiful gem of a lake that barely any people fish. Bullheads can good at times. Carp are rare but big. It once weilded a state record crappie.

On a 1-10 scale i would say for yellow bass 10, bluegill 10, white crappie 10, largemouth bass 7, channel cat 4, and yellow bullhead 4. Overall the fishing there is pretty good and by the way I have caught american eel in White hall so you should ad it to the details.
