This can include all whiskeys that are not bourbon. Irish, Japanese and malt whiskies. This 16 year is incredible. Very smooth.

Customer gave me this Friday. I said lol ,I do not drink but I appreciate it. Thought maybe someone would like to try it. Not sure if it’s any good. But a poured a little bit in a glass and it’s OK but it’s very strong tasting to me. Hopefully the neighbors will come over and finish it off this week lol.
So another one of my clients purchased these two bottles of whiskey for me. And I figured out what was going on. I had another one , call me to say , hey I hear you got some great whiskey. Maybe we should have a get together. We can shoot pool and throw darts while we drink your whiskey. Lol. I don’t drink. Snake1, I just read the question you asked about a price. I have no idea what they paid for it. I hear it is expensive.
Found some Benchmark bonded on Friday, grabbed a pair of those! Will probably sit on them for awhile to see what happens with Benchmark. Would be great if that was a bottle I could find at any given time.
Bottle of caribou crossing at $58 and EC18 I believe was $170 both left on the shelf. CC just doesn't do it for me especially pushing $60. I just missed out on a bottle of blantons, that was my main reason for stopping on my way home. Maybe next time. Lots of BT on the shelves lately.

Caribou Crossing is a good bottle, but you need to know what it is before buying it. Great initial taste, pretty smooth, zero finish. It's weird that way. I had one bottle, traded for another and it just sits on my shelf.
Do a little research on the Midwinters Dram or whatever it is....rye. I really don't like ryes. Easy pass for me. But at that price, I'd try a pour at a bar before buying a bottle. At that price, you can get blantons, weller 12 or weller antique online from reputable places.
Elijah Craig 18....I really like the bottle. It's quite good to me. Also? It is expensive for that taste. I prefer their Barrel Proof C batches. So I have two left, and not looking to add any more.
I love 1792 Full Proof. To me it is their best bottle. I have about 9 of those in the bunker and they are all store picks that I sampled first. I love them and the price is great for that pour.
I'm seeing more good stuff sitting on shelves lately. Prices are coming down. I now know of two spots where I can go and get Blantons if I ask. Cash prices are well under secondary or online pricing.
I feel like the "boom" is done and prices will come down some and that there will be more inventory.

1792 full proof still one of my favorite sippers!
CC is pretty cheap, when you can find it. I, too, have a hard time justifying that price tag which is why it's still on the shelf. I can justify it if you have enough self-control to only drink it for special occasions and with people who actually appreciate it, I don't have that much self control lol.

J4Ice, I could never bring myself to put $159 on a Liquid Consumable.
BMR left a Blantons, and Carribou Crossing at my place once (It was Awesome Luxury of taste), but I wouldn’t buy it myself. He’s a good man.
Im a 1792 man at the moment. But that stuff BMR brought was smooth. If you got money to burn, Do it! At that price, it better be smooth as silk. Ration it!
