Scotch whiskey related items. What are your favorites.

This can include all whiskeys that are not bourbon. Irish, Japanese and malt whiskies. This 16 year is incredible. Very smooth.

Still digging the Clyde mays 5 yr straight rye single barrel. Now that it has been opened for awhile it is more peppery. That I don’t care for. But overall still a good eye for 55 to 65 bucks. 

That Wagner glass table is very smooth! Worth the price for sure.

Beautiful Wednesday evening!

What’s this age 10 years. It’s really not. But a lot of eagle rare has been coming my way as of late again by the way at basses warehouse. I have plenty in stock if anybody wants to trade. Thought I would open up a new bottle up tonight. Make sure it taste the same as old Take a couple sips and I’ll use it for Manhattan and old fashions next week.

Tapping the Corazon Anejo, William Larue Weller tequila now. This is very sweet undertones tonight I am tasting chocolate and vanilla. This is a very dangerous sipper.  Enjoy it very much. Will have to keep myself going on something else very shortly. So smooth that seems impossible!

Four Gate split stave by kelvin. 75% corn. 116 proof. What a gorgeous brown. The aroma has toasted Marshmallow which I love. The taste has a little bit of oak, vanilla, and custard, which I love! The finish is a little bit of cinnamon with black pepper and baking spice. Great bottle but it’s going to be anywhere from 145 to 185 great whiskey looking forward to this one opening up a bit.

I do have to add that both whiskeys were not in that old fashion at the same time if that helps.

Weller is still really good in a mixed drink. I like the reserve, eagle rare and Buffalo trace in OFs and manhattans. Yes I can taste the diff in there as well. I currently have about 60 bottles of reserve I am trying to knock down a bit. It is a steady pour of mine. No ice on the Weller! If sipping straight you would ruin it. 

I love that one net but then again I drink scotch. That’s well worth the money.

BMR, if Wellers is good with just ice, why do you need something other than Wellers in an Old Fashioned? Mean nothing!!! Just have had 1 ounce of whiskey and don't get it?

Came across a glenmorangie 18Yr. scotch for $147     youch, ?? any thoughts
