I was wondering if anyone out there used an ice fishing jig called the Flirty Girty. If you have used them let me know what you think about them. Thanks...
These are crappies from red lake mn..I was the only one in the group with flirty girty jigs. I gave one to my buddy and we outfished everyone else 2 to 1. I only had like four 1/4 ounce ones and they were none too big...I have to order more before the trip this year!!!
i do pretty good on crappies on the pink one with a wedge, the gills seem to like the chart. i like where the line ties also.....overall pretty good, not my go to.
As with all species, we all have our "go to" ice jigs. Although the Flirty is a good jig, There are a lot of weighted jigs out there. I personally prefer the Marmooska for finicky fish. Little atom has the optic stealth jig and fiska has some nice weighted jigs also.
Panfish, I own some and they are decent; however, I wouldn't say they are my favorite or "go to" jigs. That said, if you go to the "favorite ice jig thread" you'll see Flirty Girty mentioned by some anglers as their favorite.
I use the smallest sized ones for bluegill and have good luck with them, It seems the purple and red work best for me. Haven't really tried them for any other species though.
