First time fishing lake 5 on 8/21, took the girlfriend out in that $30 boat rental ( great boat rental , really appreciate whoever is behind this )
Fished in the afternoon , caught 2 bluegills on white jig and nightcrawler, suspended over 15-20 ft in the middle of the lake, & 1 20" pike on a chartreuse spinnerbait. This is a really healthy lake, excellent vegetation and the clarity is great. Love lake 5!
