Always Been Fishing. I got your dm, the answer is yes I can land a boat without a dock, Probably longer than you have been alive, it is much easier with a dock at my age with 2 fake hips & 1 fake knee. Message me again when you are old and the body starts giving out. Next time please just keep your smart A&& comments to yourself!

Does anyone know why there is not a dock at the Michigan (Misery Bay) landing? It is not even in the parking lot, hoping it's just maintenance.
Thanks in advance!

Wondering if anyone has an accurate ice report for the lake looking at trying to do some late ce fishing this weekend on this lake and north twin lake and forest lake west of land o lakes this weekend. How much ice? Snowmobile or atv? Or walk out ? Any info would be appreciated
Thanks

sportsman1587, if you have an ATV & a sled, this seems like a no brainer to me!

Bring the sled! Sleds are always better in wet slushy snow AND it sounds like the LVD area may be getting close to a foot of snow on Saturday evening.

sportsman1587, currently atv's are fine. As of Wednesday there were still trucks out there. We have some potential for snow coming mid week, but depending on what we get, there shouldn't be much of a problem unless we get the high side of the snowfall predictions. Snowpack on top of the ice should be melting today and tomorrow.

Does anybody have update on current travel conditions on the lake?  I am looking to come up, but trying to decide if I should bring an atv or snowmobile.  Thank you.

Truck travel stopped being decent about a week and a half ago, most are currently using snowmobiles. We received 12-14" of snow in about a 5 day span. Travel conditions will be a bit brutal still with the warm up until we get enough melt off.

Plenty of ice fishing was good but just to much snow on the lake.

Was on LVD this past weekend. Snowmobile was the only way to get around.
