Only fished a couple of hours late morning. Found some crappies in 30 FOW between the landing and the island. Couldn't get any takers, and had to get back to work. Maybe next time. Couple of guys driving out there, which I would NOT recommend, not yet!

Had a very solid 9 to 10 inches in every spot I was at today guy I was with caught one perch and that was it. Everyone else I talked to said it was slow. Tight lines!

No fish caught. One party I talked to caught a few bluegills on the other side of the lake.

I fished in a few different spots at the end of the bay of the boat landing on Crystal Lake yesterday. I was fishing in 6 to 10’ of water. I did not see any fish down my holes.
Thanks for the ice info. Not many posts for Crystal Lake.

went straight out from the landing today, then worked my way east a little bit. 8" of ice normally, some solid, most with a slushy 2" on top under the snow.
1 flag, no fish.
Will walking off the boat launch be the best way out to a spot?
Anyone been out lately? I never fished this lake and don't know a good area to start for walleye. Any info is appreciated.
Thank you for the info!
I was out last week, be careful the East side was wide open. I had 6" on most of the west side. The fishing was terrible for me, only 2 perch and a small pike to show for my efforts. I'm not sure where all the bluegill are hiding, but I sure couldn't find them.
