Annual trip coming up this weekend.  Looking for any info on walleye limits changing from last year.  Also curious if the muskies are active?

I was up last weekend and had good ice every place I tried . About 12” I didn’t get to big lake but there were a ton of sleds out . Some slush but travel was good . I only caught a few perch but I never really ice fished the chain . I’m hoping to try again this year it’s my favorite area good luck

Skidoo4920...Was at Big Lake Monday-Wednesday. Ice unsafe and lake was open from Michigan Bay to about 250 foot from the Marina on the south side. 1-2 inches near shore.

found a small box of hard baits a few days ago on the chain.. Describe them and I'll get them back to you.

Came across this yesterday. Water temps are in the mid to upper 70s on the chain everywhere that I've been. Who knows what led to this fish's demise but may very well have been a mishandled catch and release.

I leave the esox gear alone when the temps are over 75, would hate to be responsible for the demise of one of these awesome creatures.
