Came across this yesterday. Water temps are in the mid to upper 70s on the chain everywhere that I've been. Who knows what led to this fish's demise but may very well have been a mishandled catch and release.

I leave the esox gear alone when the temps are over 75, would hate to be responsible for the demise of one of these awesome creatures.

Looking for info for Big Lake. Wondering how ice fishing is on this part of the chain. Is ice safe most of the year? Not familiar with it at all but might have a chance to get up there more often this winter. Not looking for spots just curious if this part of the chain gets fished during the winter.

Launched off of the Spring Creek Landing last weekend and didn't see anything about walleye limits. There was a sign that said slow no wake due to high water in place through the end of June. Fishing was outstanding.

Heading up to the chain on June 6th.  Just wondering if any of the walleye limits have changed?  Last year the landings did not have the up-to-date limits while we first got up there.  They did when we left though!!! LOL!

Fished the chain last Saturday. Cold, windy and no walleyes.  Fished shallow weeds and timber.  Managed 5 snakes. Walleye population seems down compared to years ago.

Musky Ben, their governor changed her order and now allows you to use your motor boat

I don't think the resorts are advertising this on the front page of the Eagle River newspaper

Yes and we were told they are waiving the 2 men max per boat also.
