I had this old cooler i wasn't using anymore so I made it a bait cooler. I already had the USB powered aerator so I just needed to get a power bank that would fit inside the compartment. This aerator is whisper quiet, can't even tell its running, which I like. This cooler isn't as sealed as the expensive bait coolers are, but long as I dont fill the water up too high it shouldn't leak much unless tipped over.
I seen this thing a tip down called the dangler 40$ and thought I can make something like that so off to the thrift store st Vincent and found what I thought will work.
The only other things that I needed is the stainless steel rod, some heat shrink tubing, plastic tubing, cable tie, and tools to bend the 9/32" dia.steel rod already had those things.
I'm going to make the bite indicating flag that clips to the line for open bail use.
Cost 10$ for the 2 music sheet stands.
Haven't tried it yet but soon.

I was doing some traveling so haven't done much on my BIL's addition lately. Anyway the last two days we've been starting to trim the outside getting it ready for siding. Got most of soffit done and starting to trim out the doors and windows. BIL went with red/black to kind of match the log/red cedar look of the house. I think it's going to match up well.
Sitting around and doing physical therapy all day is getting old! I found a little Hobby that I can do without putting too much stress on my back. I cut a piece of Hickory and a piece of black walnut last year and it is perfectly dried right now to make walking sticks.
So this is what I did on my first two. Tried two different handle wraps I like the one with the thin 2 mm leather rope.

Been working off and on all summer on my BIL's addition to his garage. It's to the point now of all being dried in, roof and both over head doors on. So we cut a 4 foot hole from the old garage to the new addition. We beat around different door options and I came up with a sliding barn door type. I built the door and we installed it today, worked out better than expected.
