Welcome To Our Camp

Our family would like to welcome you to Cedar Lake Camp in Northwest Ontario. Darren and I are from the beautiful bluffs of south central Wisconsin in the town of North Freedom, where we lived on a family beef farm. Darren was employed with Flambeau Inc. for 28 years in tooling and has been an avid hunter and fisherman since he was a boy. We have been blessed with a strong marriage and four wonderful daughters. Together, we have long dreamed of operating a camp and those dreams became a reality in December of 2012. We are looking forward to kicking off the new season in our life and a new season at Cedar Lake. We are dedicated to providing you with top of the line service and comfort during your stay. We are a drive-in camp located 170 miles north of International Falls, Minnesota, 1/2 mile off of highway 105 on scenic Cedar Lake, a horseshoe-shaped wilderness lake approximately 16 miles long with depths from wading shallow to 60+ feet. With its many weed beds, rocky shorelines and sunken rock formations, it provides some of the best fishing in Northwestern Ontario... all just minutes from your cabin door!

Cabins

Cedar Lake Camp has eleven fully modern cottages of various sizes to accommodate groups of two to twelve.

Our cottages are situated close to shore with a porch and an unobstructed view of the lake, just a few steps from your dock and boat.

Every cottage is spotlessly cleaned and prior to your arrival. They each have their own private bath with lots of hot water and are fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, gas range, cooking utensils and dishes. A grill and picnic table are also provided.

Bedroom arrangements include single and double beds and/or combo bunks with pillows, fresh linens and plenty of blankets. Automatic propane heat is provided as well.
