Oconomowoc Lake

Covered with snow.
Noone out.
On my way to Physical Therapy for my new knee, otherwise I would have walked out.

Do not know what the lake looks like now but this is what it looked like on Sunday the 18th from Beach Road 

You have to park on Valentine road (there is a little pull off with a sign) and then walk about 1/4 mile back to the walk on entrance to the lake on N. Beach road.

Where can you park/access for ice fishing? 

They make it tough for lake access.
It’s”THEIR” lake.
How far do you have to walk to get lake access. Look how few guys are out ice fishing?

I live 2 minutes from their launch.
Take my wife and her girlfriends out to go swimming for the summer.
Last year, yearly permit. $100
This year, yearly permit. $130

Yep, but it's one heck of a walk with limited parking.

With the water being so clear in oconomowoc does the main lake ever really lock up with safe ice after a cold front like this?

Thanks Jaybeeturtle.   I have an 18 foot Fiberglass that runs pretty shallow but I don't think I dare risk it.

The river is a bit low but a 17 ft and under should get thru. Just got to take it slow
