Looking to come up the first week in January. Was wondering if anyone could let me know the ice conditions after this recent warmup. Thanks in advance!

21° - 25° F
Just here returning the favor. Was up this past weekend and was able to make it on the ice for a few hours. We checked multiple lakes and most had anywhere from 3-7 inches of ice but about half the ice was white frozen slush ice and the other half was black clear good ice. People were driving UTV's out on Wheeler which I thought was crazy and so did my buddies I was fishing with. We set up Shantys on 5 inches of ice and 100 ft away the ice was 3 inches so I would give it a little longer before taking your machines out. Be careful because the ice conditions change quickly and also do not go down the fire roads with only one truck lots of snow in the woods. Managed a couple perch but honestly didn't try all too hard this past weekend. Should be back up in a week or 2. Good luck and be safe
Boot and bass had fishable ice Sunday. There was one guy out on boot in the middle part of the lake. Talking about the snow it is probably a hard crunch now due to it being quite wet on Sunday. Be wary of relying on a fire road to get to a lake though, unless they are frequently used a lot of fire roads are still impassible from the extreme blowdown from this summers storms
Any ice reports I can catch my own fish just want to know how much ice is on some of the lakes up there
How much snow is on the ground in the Lakewood / Townsend area, and is it hard or fluffy. Considering coming up this weekend and going to a lake that has to be accessed by a fire road. Wondering if I will be able to drive a truck in.
Was 4-6inches on the Flowage opening day of gun deer.
Any chance of ice fishing the lakes this weekend? Thanks
Looking to drive a full size truck on lakes in the area. Specifically townsend, archi, waubee.
Nice fish! How big was he?
