Lac La Belle

Tried for gills, walleye. Not so good, a handful of small walleye, either 10" or 12". On the other hand the catfish were hungry. All 4 still swimming a 8lb, two at 3lb and a 2lb. No where really special. Just between 8-12 FOW close to deep water. A crawler and a jig 1/16 or 1/8 ounce. First time at the new launch, its been awhile since I've been on this lake. New launch is really great setup.

Nothing worth fishing for until the opener anyway.I wonder what someone was fishing for one night last week when I saw a trailer at the launch around 1AM? Night bass?

Is it slow no wake out here with all the rain? 

I stuck to the better weedlines throwing a crappie size jig and plastic and picked off a couple of walleyes.  Crankbaiting the same weedlines took a couple of bass.  Hopefully, I am starting to figure this lake out.
