Not going myself, but the group I usually fish with is planning to take ATVs out.
I'm looking to do the tournament out there tomorrow. What is the integrity of the ice like should I plan to walk or is ATV travel safe?
PULLED MY SHACK OFF YESTERDAY. IT WAS SLOW GOING, LOTS OF SLUSH UNDER THE SNOW, BUT I MADE IT. I USED A WHEELER WITH CHAINS ON ALL 4 WHEELS AND I GOT A WORKOUT. DON'T WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUET BOYS, IT WILL NOT GET ANY BETTER OUT THERE. BE SAFE!!!!
Went out this past Tuesday (February 23) to pull the ice shack off the lake. A lot of water on the ice. The snow is very heavy and wet closer to the boat landing and by the walking path. The boat landing is very riped up since of these warm temperatures. Took the four-wheeler to bring off the shack and got stuck with it a couple of times. The best is to bring out a vehicle that is high off the ground. For how warm it has been this week there will be a lot of water on the ice this weekend but the ice should be fine from how cold it has been these past couple of weeks.
I was wondering how thick and safe the ice is because I was going to use a four wheeler. And if anyone is getting fish.
Better get your chains on the tires if you plan on traveling around lake.
I drive out last weekend
Any buddy drive truck's on the lake?
Small update on the Mt Glass fisheree. The bar was sold and will be closed for the next week. So with that everything will be run out of the strike zone in New Holstein. They have the sign up starting Tuesday until Friday at 9pm. I will take entries until 7am on the lake Saturday. Strike zone also has tickets for the fleet farm raffle.
