Everyone needs to know that Earley Lake in Amherst County is NOT a public lake and NOT a part of the county watershed lake system.  It is private and posted.  If you come and try to use the lake, the owners (who live on the lake) will ask you to leave and expect you to do so immediately.  To get to the lake you have to go by "Private Road" and "Private Property" signs so please do not pretend you didn't know.
