Weed Beds

spent most of the day throwing frogs. lots of blowups, few hookups. not sure if I had the wrong color or if the fish were in a bad mood. fun at any rate. did catch a few on a bladed jig around rocks. good luck all. RT :)

Fished S. Sabula Lake and Rock Creek yesterday, I didn't find em. 2-5" perch and 1-4" gill. Approximately 6" of good ice both places.

river very low due to rip rap maintance,. LM biting in backwaters with low current flow, scattered, chasing shad and other bait. moving bait seem to be better than slow baits. lots of shorts being caught with some nicer ones mixed in. good luck, RT

Sunday… Fished below Bellevue Dam. Water was low and dirty. Seen a few shorts caught but really slow. Water temp made it to 40deg by time I left. Not much for ice coming down. 30 ish boats out but all played together nice.

Nice to get out in boat .
