Whites are very good on river. Prime time is late April thru May.

   Is there still a decent white bass run on the river? I haven’t fished the river in years just curious.

Fished from Starv Rock to clam beds today. 10 sauger total only one keeper. Most fish caught in 20' plus.

Any recent updates near Spring Valley/Starved Rock? Planning on going out this weekend, and looking for any suggestions on spots to start.

i was told bigger boats cant launch from barto when the river gage at lasalle reads 13 ft and below because the lagoon at the boat ramp silted in.
"the story" behind that i am not sure. i would assume it had something to do with the new bridge.

Question for the board: What is the story with the Barto boat launch ? I went to launch there Monday only to see that the docks are still on land with none in the water. I ended up driving to Hennepin to launch. Aren't they usually in by this time of year ? Just askin'...
