Fowler definitely not chicken they have pores on the under side not gills and the top side is yellow to orange (use google )

Thay may be oyster but not sure they look to frilly don't know if it is expiring or if it is the oyster I don't know enough about that one only know what a fresh one looks like

I usually pick Gray Knights....under a stand of White Pines on my property. I checked just yesterday and although a bit early, very few are coming up. Hopefully within the next 30 days...depending on weather.

Found these on some dead wood jamming up on my running slough. Rather unusual find since i was crossing in waders and waist deep water.  Worthwhile harvest?  I was hoping for some assistance in identifying. Oysters, chicken?   Seemed to be quite a few washing out from the flooding backwaters.

Found some nice hens last weekend.. sautéed with some garlic and had them with some venison heart.  Spectacular.

Browning.  Chicken of the woods.  Not to be confused with the similar sounding hen of the wounds.

I found a tree with many clusters of this mushroom growing. Not sure if this is a good one. Can anyone identify it? They are growing in SE Wisconsin.

Got up to cabin in Vilas at noon today. Damn, (2) days late. Got enough for two meals, but could have had plenty for canning couple days earlier.  Oh well.
