clear cut land

recently the private land I hunt on was mostly clear cut due to oak wilt and BML rules about 35-40 acres out of 60 +/- I am wondering how this will affect the turkey population and hunting I figure the open areas will make for good strut zones but the trees the birds would roost in are gone thanks for any help or input CBD
