A HUGE thank you goes out to the Sheboygan County Conservation Association, Hermitage Sportsman's Club, Northern Kettles Turkey Federation, Koenig's Conservation Club, WI-DNR, all the mentors, students and everyone else who help put the LTH Turkey program together this past weekend.
In total there was 20 turkeys harvested over the weekend from this class, including my wife's first turkey, on her first turkey hunt. This is a great program and I hope others take advantage of it. All the mentors were very knowledgable and got students on birds, as well as taught them plenty of tricks. These experiences will last a lifetime.

Milford Hills had another safe and successful LTH weekend. 13 birds harvested for 36 hunters. Big thanks to all the mentors who gave unselfishly of their time and talents to make this program work. Also thanks to the many sponsors who helped out this year............
Had 3 idiots walking around the property at 9am Saturday. They managed to chase away two flocks that were in our field. Word of advice to the 3 Brown County idiots, if you see vehicles parked on the road with a large yellow "learn to hunt" sign posted up, maybe think about doing your scouting some other time. Also, nice bright blue and red jackets and white hat, the three colors you never wear in the turkey woods. By the looks of you guys I would guess all the scouting in the world won't be helping your turkey hunting success anyway. This may have put a tempory damper on our day, but we didn't let it affect our hunt and as a mentor, I used it as a good teaching lesson for the kid. With a miss yesterday, we never killed a bird but had a great 2-day hunt. He is hooked for sure.
