crappie, I was hoping it was a back pix because it looks like it was hit over the head with a 2x4 in the pix!
Here's an idea for guys getting their fish mounted, consider having a closed mouth instead of open mouth. I did one each on the 2 11lb walleyes I have mounted and everyone comments on how the one with a closed mouth looks better because it's more natural. Way to often I see mounts with the mouths open so wide that a fish in nature can't even get it's mouth open that wide!
If you are near Stevens Point I would check out Mayes taxidermy west of town. He doesn't have a walleye on his website, but his other fish look fairly realistic, which is not very common with fish mounts. I know people who go there for walleyes and love it, but I have not had one done personally. Might be worth the drive to check out. I'm very picky with fish mounts and I would probably consider them if I had to have one done. Little pricey but if it's nice I would do it.

This guy does the best fish that I know.......
Here is another walleye from After The Hunt Taxidermy in Antigo, WI. The other picture is a glass end table that I had done from there too with 5 perch from Devils lake inside. The Walleye was 28" and the perch were all from 13 1/2 to 14 3/4 inches. I have a glass coffee table to match that has a 42" pike inside. He does really good work. I will try and post more pics later.
