so in an effort to save some weight i'm considering removing the bench seat altogether and replacing it with the otter bracket and swivel seat for when i go alone.  my significant other and i do fish in it together and it fits us fine.  i'd just throw the bench back on it when we go together.  can anyone definitively tell me whether or not the bracket and swivel seat fit the wild series sleds?

i did search multiple times here and on google to no avail.  i called otter directly and they're closed for the week.  anyone with experience please chime in.  thanks.

for anyone that was interested, the swivel seat and bracket fit just fine with zero modification. i love the chair, especially because it sits much lower than the bench. additionally, it's a weight saver. i had it out with all my gear and i hauled it effortlessly with the clam harness. in comparison, i hauled it last year loaded with gear and bench seat and it was a PITA. full gear included: 2 dozen minnows, box tip up, 3 rod combos, power auger, two tip ups, a 32 oz bottle of water, a marcum lx5, an aqua vu xps cam, and lunch for the day. all my gear separately weighs about 40lbs. the sled itself with swivel seat and bracket is probably about 60lbs so i saved about 15lbs in weight from switching seats. i do lose some sled space, but the compromise is well worth it. on top of that, it's the most comfy seat i've ever ice fished out of.

so i bit the bullet and bought the swivel seat and bracket without knowing if it fits. if it doesn't, i'll return it for a frabill seat. those look much sturdier but i'm unsure if that will fit either. only time will tell. i'll post pics once i get her rigged up.

found a simple solution for your seating problem, my son went to the junkyard and took a headrest from some type of van (don't remember which brand) and attatched the 2 rods on the headrest to a 5 gal bucketand he totes hit minnow bucket inside it with a bucket type seat so he now had a lightweight and usefull backrest on a bucket. so i dont own a camera so no pic but you get the idea.

Yes it does fit with a little modification , You have to drill a new hole to make it long enough
