I just got my Striker Predator bibs. Fit great, seem warm. I am concerned about the durability. I never was able to see a pair in person just read about them. I wish I would have checked out this thread before hand. Now I thinking about sending them back before wearing them. One of the chest pockets had a huge hole and with all the stitching and some of the comments on made here I don't want to get burned and have these things falling apart in a couple of years. I wear a BPS 100mph rain coat for a top and the nylon on that seems tougher than the bibs. I may just order a pair of BPS Pro Qualifier Bibs and be done. Any comments.

Had the "opportunity" to test out the floating capabilities of my Striker Lite yesterday. Worked perfect! Obviously still got wet but 60 degrees and a 30 mph wind dried me off quick. Beware of the ice though -it is real bad in southern WI, and trust me, the water is still very cold!

I have had my lite suit for a month now and have been just tickled with it. Mind you it's the only suit I've owned. I came across this thread and immediately checked the inside of my bibs and what do ya know! It's coming apart. This is disappointing but It seems The good fellows at Striker are taking care of these issues so I'm certain this minor glitch won't slow me down much and I will still love my suit for many moons to come.

I purchased the striker lite floatation suit. Have about 100 hrs on the ice with it. I am very happy with it, and have had no problems.

I recently purchased a Striker Ice Suit, the regular flotation suit. And fished with it all day long last Saturday, no rips yet. The air temp was 28 deg. F and kind of breezy, and was this suit ever warm, standing around I was quite comfortable. But when I was walking, then I had to unzip to cool down a little. All I had on was a pair of blue jeans and a lite long john top underneath my Ice Suit. My suit is new, but I am impressed with all of the features and it seems to be well built. I will have another honest report after I've fished with this suit for a while. The reason I picked this suit was that I heard that their customer service was good and that they are very helpful about fixing any problems with their products. Smile Smile

So now anyone who is fair to someone who disagrees with you is "drinking the koolaid"? You loose credibility every time post. I agree with what people are saying at MANY sites about AA AND STRIKER! Fishin is no different. Anyone who thinks striker is better than AA even though they are prone ripping is the one drinking the koolaid. AND YOUR POURING THE PITCHERS! If read back in the threads you would know that you cant talk about one with out comparing to the other. Striker is a spin off of AA. That makes it relevent. Very relevent "thinking about buying one of these suits" That opens it up to comparison to the original AA. The poster should have feed back to "think about" getting another brand. One thats been out longer. Kaz, You talk about the post of others and the similarity. You seem to start arguments when ever and where ever you can. All someone has to do is disagree with you, or agree with someone you already started an argument with. Wondering

This Thread is about Striker Ice suits, not AA. Take your info on AA and start another thread where people actually care about it. The original topic has nothing to do with AA...

I seem to remember fishin ripping on lowrance. THATS sitting in his garage because it dont work! This is a review that differs from some one else. Nothing more. One person had problems with a striker. I hear thats not uncomon. Fishin has AA and no problems. The guy is po-ed about buying a striker suit that he didnt research well enough. He got burned for it and attact someone for reviewing a better suit. Then tried to paint a picture that the AA is worse. Thats just not true. Thats deceptive to others that may be in the market for a suit. If they get the striker and have problems because one person was just trying to talk themselves out of disapointment, that is a not fair to them. Then fishin pointed out AA seems to be better, and out longer. He was attact for it and defended himself. Then made sure people didnt get misled. I would to. He says nothing about the AA or the striker you cant find elswhere on the net. You just dont find someone trying to defend a purchase by attacking someone for pointing out there a are better options than a suit that is new to the market and has problems ripping already. If they guy would have listened to what fishin had to say way back in the posts. Instead of just starting an argument with him, long BEFORE he got the striker, we wouldnt be having this conversation.

I see peter found the AA koolaide pitcher, too! How can you look at SS's posts without bias when all of them are clearly slanted heavily towards what ever product is sitting in his garage? Keep drinkin' up!

Was going to say fishin does not say his is better because he has it. He beat me to it though. I personaly have followed up on some of fishin's reviews. If you look at them with out bias, he seems to be just about dead on in most cases. This would be one of them! The two suits are the same type of product. It seems one is a better bet than the other. I have also read some bad reviews about the Striker suits. LOTS of ripping going on! Almost as much ripping as someone is doing because they might have made a mistake? Not much bad being said about the Arctic Armor suits. With the exception of dealing with the company. Just make sure you buy from a retailer that stands by their customers. Not to hard to do. I dont ever remember a time when I returned a product to the manufactuer. I exchange with the store I baught it from... You dont return a chevy to the factory do you? Go play somewhere else? Whos taking over the thread? Look. You got a suit and had problems. They finnaly made it right. How many days were you with out a suit? The other guy had is from day one. How much did you pay to ship this thing? Not once but twice! And the striker is a better suit? The suit compares to another brand. One that has been out longer and seems to have fewer problems. To come on and start an argument with someone who didn't have problems with another brand wont make it better. It will just start an argument. There are more than enough of those on here already. I wont sit back and let some one claim theres is better just because its the one they got either. Then start an argument with some one just because they gave a diferent opinion and got a better suit! That crap is getting sickening! Puke

It just doesn't make any sense though. Why did you feel the need to come on this thread, hijack it, and turn it into a "everything I have is better then yours" debate. It seems to be a reaccruing theme with you. No one here comes to read about AA, they come to ask questions about a different brand altogether. If you want to gush over AA there are plenty of other threads you can do that at and if your research skills are a little rusty I'd be happy to post some more links for you to follow. It seems like you have a serious ego problem and NEED to be noticed all the time. With respect, I ask you to take your "precious" and go play somewhere else.
