I went out from the Grade today and then to head upriver to see how it changed . Water temp at the Grade was 64. On the Lake it was 59.Some bouys are out but they stop as you head up from the Lake . Heading up the right side of the river is real shallow as the sand moved in big time .So you must go to the far side . The last bouy is on the far left side . Then if you aim for the long silver hoist cover you should be OK . See pic. Then to get to the sandbars it's a little shallower than last year. I stayed about 200 yards away . Getting to the bluff seemed the same but to get to the I bridge is very tricky . I caught 4 yellow bass 2 Sheepies and a big carp . All on worms . Nothing on lures.
Flooding up there going to get worse . "River Flow" link on the Dells Dam LakeLink site (seen near top of their page) shows water continuing to rise and chart is predicting "In Flood level " by Thursday .
This will for sure effect Lake Wisconsin area. Expect to be some No Wake zones put into effect.

Lots of good spots besides up in the river to get walleyes and saugers that are located in the lake. i have caught some of my biggest walleyes at the tressel in april. Hair jigs and plastics. Heard the water was going down by Hookers resort all ready. Good luck everyone and be safe out there with all the logs coming down river to the lake.
