There are 5 lakes within 15 minutes of North that are better. I am mostly talking bass, musky, and panfish. 10 years ago North was one of better lakes, not anymore, the videos posted are proof of the decline.

North lake is still one of the best lakes in Waukesha cty, well worth the effort to launch behind the post office in town
...still waiting for the new launch, but with all the lawyer crapola and probably payola, I'll probably be dead before that happens
Nice video, I have fished North 2 times this year and skunked both times. Back when the lake had good fishing 20-30 bass were common a trip. Would love to have some video footage of the old days on North, sadly lake is one of worst in Waukesha county now.
The internal camera date is very wrong. This video was from this year. I thought I turned that date off but turns out I did not. Thanks for the heads up!
Bass &Brews 2015?
76° - 80° F
We got out on North over the summer and did ok. Got 2 nice bass right off the bat, then nothing of any size for the rest of the day. We had a few missed topwater strikes near the end of the day as well. Enjoy our Bass & Brews episode from North Lake. Remember, if you can't catch a fish you can always catch a buzz!
Thanks goliath gills :-)
We saw tons of big bass they just would not bite anything. Some guy that came back to the launch caught some nice ones and a bowfin on live bait.
It's just so highly pressured the fish are super wary now.
It's still fun checking out new water :-)
Great video, that is a pretty good example of what North has become. Lots of small pike and smaller bass, I was out there today for 4 hours and caught 2 small pike and a small bass on topwater. It is unbelievable how bad the fishing is compared to about 10 years ago. I hope it improves some day.
If someone was to fish North with a Kayak, how long before the kiddie party starts with the power boats? I know no skiing is allowed until after 9am according to ordinances.
