Went out last night just before dark. Got two nice 17" eyes than it just died. That big ol moon came up and I hung around for a while and had some fun. The smallies really started hitting, lost a few than got a 20" and a few cast later a 21.5" which is my personal best. Thought about mounting it but still swimmin, nice night.

The Spawn might be winding down but as for walleye in the river there still there into june most of the big girls head back to the bay and feed in the shallows. River will be busy opening weekend with Michigan opening boating back up and Wisconsin lifting some of its stay at home rules state parks opening Friday so all be safe and tight lines.
Any walleye action going on yet or is it all but over?

Fished for a few hours this afternoon. Only saw 3 other boats. Managed a 28 1/2” spawned out female. That was only fish I saw caught. I think it’s over for this year. Water temp was 42 degrees. Good luck.
Went fishing for about 2 hours today, landed 10 walleye and just as many suckers, all walleye were caught jigging, mix of male and female with most females still holding eggs.
We recently fished the bay of Green Bay in the Marinette/Pestigo area. Caught a good amount of fish and some nice ones. All post spawn females and one dandy small mouth bass. Video of our day below.
