Fished Cox last night and the fishing was extremely slow. Almost nobody else out on the lake, which should have been a sign. Caught about a dozen small bluegills, crappies and perch. Tried plastic as usual, but had to switch to waxworms to get anything to bite. Fished mainly 10-13 fow.

Has anyone been out this week? Curious how that 60 degree day affected the ice. Any ice reports?
Nman, wife and I fished last weekend and ice was safe everywhere we walked. Multiple access points and there were tents and tracks everywhere. Ice was 6-10 inches of good clear ice with a decent amount of slush/snow on top:( If you got lucky you could find decent walking tracks out. Fish were finicky and all our luck was on 4mm gold teardrop jigs with spikes. Good luck:)

Anyone have a recent ice or fishing reports? Looking to find somewere to fish around spring green area for panfish if anyone has a suggestion. Thanks
Thanks Gobblestoppr! My wife and I appreciate it. Your description was pretty accurate.
We were there on Wednesday and had about 8” With a lot of snow and slushy areas. I imagine the ice is fine, but the crap on top will be a nightmare to traverse.
Does anyone happen to know the ice conditions? Thanks!

Fished Cox Hollow from 4:45pm-8:00pm this evening. Was surprised to see how many leisure boats/kayakers were still out and about. Gorgeous night with a much needed break from the humidity. Even with the traffic I managed to boat 7 LM Bass ranging from 12"-16" and 1 Walleye right before dark. All fish were caught and released on a Texas rigged "Ribbon Style Worm" in 6-10 FOW. Worked weed lines and targeted steep drop offs just outside those lines.
Nearly every boat I saw that were targeting panfish landed a few small LM Bass as well. Heard a few saying they were in the 14" range too. Safe to say this lake is a well populated fishery. 3rd trip here in the last few weeks and each trip has been very successful!
Hey guys just a question regarding the regulations on Cox Hollow and Twin Valley. I’ve never fished these lakes before and was thinking about making the drive out to try them. I had a friend tell me these lakes are restricted to foot travel only, no ATV’s/vehicles. However I haven’t been able to find any regulations on this. I’m not going to haul the ATV out there if they arent allowed. Any help appreciated, I will post a report after heading out there later in the week. Thanks and tight lines
