FISHING FORECAST
Hawthorn largemouth bass density remains high and size structure is good. High abundance of fish 18 inches and less. Larger, trophy-sized fish are present. Bluegill quality is developing slowly. Most fish are less than 8 inches long. This should improve in upcoming years. Crappie are moderately abundant with most fish less than 10 inches long; larger fish are available. Channel catfish are abundant and fish up to 5 pounds are common.(2017)
