FISHING FORECAST
The fishing at Nodaway Lake is expected to be good in 2019. Bluegills average 7- to 8-inches long and black crappies are 10- to 12-inches. Largemouth bass are moderate in numbers with some quality fish in the population. Fair numbers of 17- to 22-inch) channel catfish are present in Nodaway. Walleyes stocked by the Adair County Conservation Board provide a bonus fish for anglers. The overall fishery in Nodaway Lake is in good condition. Nodaway Lake is a good destination for spring and fall crappie fishing.(2019)
