Ice: 14"
Made my first trip of the year today. Accessed the lake from Cook Park Today, for the first time in several years I got the Big Skunk. I worked from 8' to 14'. With all of the snow cover the image from the camera was not clear. I could not find any weeds. I'll try again in a day or two. There is a huge ice heave right by the Cook Park ramp. You have to swing to the west a little to access the lake.

LVVA shoreline looked bad. There were some spots I saw people walking in and out from but I accessed from a buddies house this time. Wide open between the points. Was drilling anywhere from 5 to 6.5 inches of ice in the shallows. Group fished 5pm till 1am. We had 10 flags out, not one popped. Jigged up 5 bluegill. 7FOW. Not a good fishing day on the lake

Got out last Sunday around 7am. Fished till about 11am with some buddies. Set up out of LVVA Beach. About 4 to 5 inches of ice. Did nit venture out at all. Set up 6 flags, none popped. We were in about 7.5 feet of water. TONS of gills but that's it. Surprised, usually early ice the flags get popping.
