Lake Geneva at Fontana is wide open. Few butterballs swimming around. No ice there as far as my old eyes could see. Delavan lake was frozen as far as my old eyes could see. There's also no snow in my yard in the most south east of walworth county. Oh and it raind and was in the 40s. I don't mind rain, I don't have to shovel it. Hope we get more reports on this thread as exciting as mine.

Junkie: Depends what you're looking for, that area has just about everything. Water Street Brewery is good as is Delafield Brew Haus. If you're looking a little more high end, there's Kurt's Steakhouse. If you have kids with you, Marty's pizza is fantastic.
If you don't mind a little bit of a drive, about 20 minutes, North Lake Inn has arguably the 2nd best pizza on the planet with Doc's Drydock on Pewaukee Lake being the best. Doc's is a bit of a haul from there, probably 30 minutes, because you have to go around the lake.
Hope this helps.

Yesterday, saw 12 walleye spawning in a little local clear water river. Paddled up in the morning to a lake, saw just 2 suckers. After fishing all day, on the way back, saw the eyes, 4 pike, 2 smallie, one huge largemouth, and a couple dozen suckers. This was in 1/4 mile. Amazing how things can change in a few hrs in spring. Also, turtles coming out all over the place. A big snapper was crossing the road, got out and carried it across so it wouldn't get run over. It didn't appreciate the help. Took a big stinky pee on my leg and shoe. Now my truck smells like turtle pee. It's horrible stuff
Got up to 76 degrees here in Waukesha County. Decided I was going to grab the fishing kayak and paddle up the river to a local small private lake. Water is a bit high, was a good workout fighting the current. Gills were stacked up in a north side channel, it was one or more bites every cast, and 90% of casts put a fish in the boat. Another yak fisherman came up, and two girls and 2 guys were paddling for fun. Looks like spring is here down south
